You pretty much know what to expect from the Holiday Inn. This one opened in March 2005 so is more modern than some of the others you might find around the world but is of a similar standard. The reception area is spacious and there is an ample supply of receptionists ready to help. A cafe/bar is the main feature in the lobby which also features an expensive souvenir shop, ATM and currency exchange.
When booking online, expect to pay about $420 for a standard room or about $500 for an executive room. The hotel has triple rooms as well, which can be interesting for families. Breakfast is an extra $40. The corridors and rooms are plush and nicely decorated. Amenities include satellite television, hairdryers and coffee and tea makers. High speed internet is available in each room for $15 an hour or $25 per day. The hotel also has a conference center with nine meeting rooms, a business center, restaurant and gym. Mainly frequented by businessmen, if you have the money the rooms are worth the price.
